The second EFT Gathering in Ontario has been designed to build an EFT community in Canada. We have created events and presentations for practitioners and beginner Tappers alike. There are presentations for working with teens, children, adults and animals. Everyone is welcome and all levels of EFT experience will be embraced in a caring and supportive environment. Sixth Annual World Tapping Summit Starting Feb 24 2014
It is that time of year again to mark your calendars for the free marathon of tapping opportunities. For those who are new to this event, once you put in your e-mail on the appropriate site you will have access to 10 days, 2 presenters daily, of EFT information and experience with using EFT tapping. You only have 24 hours to listen in to the replays for free. To make the most of this opportunity I have found it best to prepare by reviewing your schedule and trying to set aside a time each day that you can commit to listening in. You will be sent the link through your e-mail and you might choose to only watch few here and there when you have time. This event is an awesome way for those new to EFT to see all the interesting ways in which EFT is used to collapse distressing feelings and somatic complaints arising from the body and to develop a skill that enables you to reduce your stress response and move gently into a relaxation response. The following video with Lissa Rankin talking with Nick Ortner is the second pre launch video that explores further how the body can heal itself when in a relaxed state of being. The latest research demonstrating how our stress hormone of cortisol reduces significantly after tapping and of course consistent reports from clients can attest to the power of EFT tapping to initiate the relaxation response which allows the body to begin to heal itself.
The video is another pre-event video for the upcoming 6th Annual Tapping World Summit. In the interview Dr. Lissa Rankin, a traditionally trained medical doctor who specializes in understanding the mind-body connection, sits down with Nick Ortner, the producer of the event.

A participant who attended my EFT workshop commented on how they experience self loathing and has difficulty with the default phrase in the EFT set up,” I deeply and completely love and accept myself”.

Ten years ago when I first began to introduce EFT to my clients it became obvious that this statement hit home and some would get tearful saying this statement. At the core of who we are, we all desire to really deeply love and accept ourselves. I believe it is the intention of our souls to remember how beautiful we really are when we step outside our ego. If you are struggling with this standard phrase then repeating it 3 times can be painful.

 I’d like to reframe that by saying that anyone attempting to use EFT/MTT, use self help methods or for those that decide to come in for counselling are taking steps towards healing and in actuality those choices and actions are indeed acts of self love which translates into the reality that you are really “LEARNING to love and accept yourself”.  Committing to searching for ways to release from toxic thoughts and emotions is an act of accepting and loving the self.

If you find yourself cringing at repeating the phrase “I deeply and completely love and accept myself”?
 Try replacing with: Even though I have this___________________(identify specifically the emotion or body sensation)………….

“I want to learn to accept myself”
“I acknowledge and accept that I cannot accept myself in this moment”
“I acknowledge this feeling”
“I am open to the possibility of healing”
“I accept my feelings without judgement”
“I am an OK person anyways”
“I forgive myself”
“I am learning to be calm and confident”
